🎉 First Release of 2026: Capacity & Drop-in Enhancements

Hi everyone,

Happy New Year!🎉  We’re kicking off 2026 with a critical release focused on improving flexibility around attendance, capacity, and drop-ins—especially for high-utilization programs.

This release includes three major updates 👇

1️⃣Drop-in Slot Auto-Opens When an Attendee Is Absent, Paused, or Removed

When an enrolled attendee is marked Absent for a class:

A drop-in slot automatically opens for that specific class

• The slot can be used to book:
  
  • Make-ups
  • Add-on class packs
  • Regular drop-ins

Important notes:

• The drop-in slot opens only for that specific class schedule
• Past and future class schedules remain unaffected
• Capacity updates instantly on the calendar and roster

This ensures:

• No wasted capacity
• Faster make-up utilization
• Better class fill rates

2️⃣Override Capacity for Enrollments

You can now override enrollment capacity from the Frontdesk, even when a class or program is fully booked.

How it works:

• When capacity is full, you’ll see a confirmation prompt to override
• Confirming the override:
  
  • Increases the program’s capacity for the entire subscription period
  • Ensures renewals continue smoothly without manual adjustments

This is especially useful for:

• Last-minute enrollments
• High-priority customers
• Operational flexibility without breaking capacity logic

3️⃣Override Capacity for Drop-ins (Including Make-ups & Unlimited)

Capacity overrides now apply to drop-ins as well.

You can:

• Book a drop-in even when no slots are available
• Use this with:
  
  • Make -up Credits
  • Unlimited Plans
  • Regular drop-ins

The system automatically handles:

• Capacity Updates
• Roster accuracy
• Calendar Availability
